Dayuan Machinery at IPMEX Malaysia 2026 – Deepening Presence in Southeast Asia

From 12 to 15 August 2026, the 16th Malaysia International Printing, Paper & Packaging Machinery Exhibition (IPMEX Malaysia 2026) was held at MITEC in Kuala Lumpur. Under the theme “Print Package Possibility”, the show gathered 214 exhibitors from countries including China, Italy, South Korea, Singapore, and the US, attracting a large number of professional visitors. Dayuan Machinery exhibited at Booth 2B24, engaging with buyers and industry partners from Southeast Asia and beyond.

Throughout the show, Dayuan’s booth drew both existing and new customers. Several long-term clients visited to learn about Dayuan’s latest developments, showing particular interest in the newly launched H-1716 Series Web-fed Digital Printing Machine. This unit integrates printing, laminating, cross cutting, and paper collection into a complete inline production line—no additional cutting or slitting equipment is needed. Its high integration and automation significantly boost efficiency. Many existing clients noted that this all-in-one solution simplifies workflows, making it ideal for packaging printers seeking a single investment for rapid gains. Several existing clients noted that the machine is well suited for short-run and small-batch printing jobs, helping reduce production costs.

At the same time, Dayuan welcomed several first-time visitors. Through discussions and product materials, these new contacts gained a solid understanding of Dayuan’s capabilities in foil stamping, die cutting, and sheet cutting, and acknowledged the reliability and performance of Dayuan equipment.

During conversations, Dayuan’s team clearly sensed strong market demand in Malaysia for high-precision sheet cutters. The country has numerous paper mills and printing houses, with stringent quality requirements and cutting precision directly impacting downstream processes. Conventional cutters often produce burrs that require an additional edge-trimming step. Dayuan offers a range of sheet cutter configurations tailored to different paper processing needs. Taking the SM Series Servo Precision Double Helix High Speed Sheet Cutter Machine as an example, it features a proprietary embedded double spiral rotary knife that delivers high accuracy and a smooth, burr-free surface, eliminating secondary trimming and saving both time and labor costs. This advantage drew considerable attention and inquiries from industry professionals.

Many visitors also expressed plans to visit Dayuan’s factory in China for a closer look at its manufacturing capabilities, while others indicated they would stop by Dayuan’s booth again at the All in Print China in Shanghai this October for further discussions.

This participation marks an important step in Dayuan’s steady expansion into Southeast Asia. The direct interactions with regional customers have deepened Dayuan’s understanding of local needs and industry trends. Moving forward, Dayuan will continue to focus on diverse customer requirements worldwide, delivering more efficient and reliable intelligent post-press solutions for the printing and packaging industry.
